2017 Art Event Evening

The Pastel Society Art Event Evening was a huge success.

Hattie Whitehead entertained everyone with her music. She made a delightful model and many excellent works were created.

Megumi modelled in a Japanese Kimono surrounded by an array of coloured silks, creating a tempting subject for everyone taking part.

A three year diploma course in Graphic Design at High Wycombe College of Art led to a career in design and illustration. Since 1988 I have been able to paint on a full-time basis, initially using pastel.
I now also paint in acrylic, oils or mixed -media including collage and subjects include landscape, townscapes, coastal scenes and forests.
I exhibit work mainly in London and the south and my work has been selected for the following group exhibitions.

Group Exhibitions:

Society of Botanical Artists
RA Summer Exhibition
Pastel Society
Society of Women Artists
Royal Society of Marine Artists
Royal West of England Academy
New English Art Club.

I am a member of the Society of Women Artists and the Pastel Society, showing work at the Mall Galleries each year.
