Pastel Society Workshops 2016

PASTEL SOCIETY WORKSHOPS AT THE MALL GALLERIES

The Mall, London SW1
The workshops cover a wide range of subjects and will be tutored by members of the Pastel Society. The workshops will run from 11am – 5pm. Participants may bring a packed lunch although drinks and snacks are available from the Mall Galleries Café. Easels and drawing boards will be provided, but students should bring their normal range of materials. Models will be available, but where the subject is landscape, participants are recommended to bring sketches to work from. The Workshops will run in the Learning Centre.

The dates of workshops are as follows: 

23rd 24th 26th 27th 28th 29th February 1st & 4th March 2016 

PASTEL WORKSHOP FEES
£60 per day or £55 per day if booking four   
*Reduced fees for Friends of The Pastel Society are £55 per day or £50 per day if booking four
*Early booking is advisable

Jenny Halstead PS FMAA

Biographical Details:

After studying Art & Design at Sutton & Cheam School of Art and a guest scholarship to the Royal Academy Schools, Jenny went on to train as a medical artist, illustrating surgery and anatomy. She worked in London Teaching Hospitals, before turning freelance and publication work in both medicine and natural history.

Breaking away from this discipline over a decade ago to return to the freedom of painting and developing her own work as well as teaching.
