Sarah Bee PS 

Biographical Details:

Sarah gained a Dip AD in Graphic Design at Maidstone College of Art
And worked as a graphic designer for National Magazines.

Later she worked as a makeup artist and bodypainter for commercial photography and film.

Sarah studied painting at Heatherleys School of Fine art, and subsequently painted with the Blockley Group.
It was during this time that she was introduced to pastels.
In 2005 she was elected to The Pastel Society.

Living in South Devon, Sarah draws inspiration from the landscape.
Constantly evolving methods and style allow her to effectively portray the changing seasons and light.

Sarah works in the studio from sketches and notes made on location.
Paintings are achieved by working on board and layering gesso, acrylic, and finally pastel.

Jenny Halstead PS FMAA

Biographical Details:

After studying Art & Design at Sutton & Cheam School of Art and a guest scholarship to the Royal Academy Schools, Jenny went on to train as a medical artist, illustrating surgery and anatomy. She worked in London Teaching Hospitals, before turning freelance and publication work in both medicine and natural history.

Breaking away from this discipline over a decade ago to return to the freedom of painting and developing her own work as well as teaching.
